After suffering their only loss of the season, (Bergen Catholic 48-32) in the Bronx, the highly traveled Knights return to New York City to play Poly Prep on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
Last week Coach Rahim again proved to the Nation what we already know…, the Knights will go anywhere and play well against the very best. The number one team in the Nation, Don Bosco, managed only 22 points against the Crusaders the previous week. Bergen has a well endowed program with tremendous community support. If you didn’t catch the school’s radio coverage, I highly recommend the recap from their website. http://bergencatholicfootball.com/ “BC Passing Attack Fuels Comeback.” According to Dan Long, (a.k.a., the Voice of the Crusader), Friendship Academy... was stocked with an amazing array of talent at the skill positions, and were not shy at finding a way to utilize all of their receiving weapons." Many thanks to the Crusader Community for a great game and we hope to see you again soon.
