Fall Blow Pierce Activities

Volleyball
Blow Pierce Volleyball News
The volleyball team finished up their season on Thursday, October 21, at home against Friendship rival Woodridge. While they lost a heartbreaker on that day, led by team captain Nicole Armstrong and Coach Alethea King, the girls have enjoyed some great victories this year over Holton-Arms and Cesar Chavez and ended the season with a 4-3 record. Go Knights!


Boys' Soccer

The Boys Soccer team has made tremendous strides this season as they have been competitive in every game this season. Coach Prescott, who coaches the girls' and boys teams, has preached toughness and perserverance all year when it comes to her boys. She explained, "It always take us a half before we decide to wake up and play Blow Pierce soccer. We just have to keep fighting and hopefully we can finish the year on a strong note." Whatever happens, we know the Junior Knights will play hard. Go Knights!

The Girls Soccer team has posted a record of 5-0-1 and are in 1st place in the DC Scores Middle School Soccer League with one game to go! Keiche White has led the way with some very memorable performances, including leading the Knights to their first ever victory over powerhouse Lincoln. Playoffs start on the 19th. Good job Coach Prescott! Go Knights!

Blow Pierce - Tech Prep Football News

The Blow Pierce-Tech Prep football team is got hot at the right time, as they won their final 3 games by an average of over 20 points! Behind a strong game from running back Anthony Chase, the Junior Knights spoiled Paul Junior High’s homecoming by posting a 20-16 victory. They then finished their season by feasting on Riverdale Baptist 29-0 at our very own homecoming. Calep Epps threw a beautiful 45 yard touchdown to Derrick Robinson to ignite the rout! The Junior Knights finished the season at 5-3. Congratulations on a great season.

Cross-country
Blow Pierce Cross-Country News

The Cross-Country team finished up their season on Tuesday, Oct 19th, at Barrie School in Silver Spring, Md. Toni Lowe and Marquise Frye turned up strong times in a field with over 120 runners! It was the largest meet of the year in Montgomery County for middle school. Coach J.J Pierce explained, “They were not intimidated by the enormous crowd of runners. They ran just like we practiced.” Good job Cross Country team!
