Friendship improved their record to 4-3 on Monday with at 26-6 win over Riverdale Baptist. Three, cold, rainy days after the postponed Friday game, resulted in a sloppy field that proved challenging for both squads. After a scoreless first half, Riverdale scored mid-way through the third quarter. Those points seemed to ignite (sorry) Friendship, which scored on the next possession and then, seemed to find the answer. Chris Griggs connected on numerous screen passes. Combined with 160 yards of rushing from Malcolm Crockett and a hard hitting defense, the Knights never looked back.
The Knights continue their difficult travel schedule heading all the way to Delaware this Saturday to take on a very talented Salesianum squad. The Sallies, one of Delaware's very best, showed vulnerability with a loss to Franklin N.J., last week. They enter the game with a 5 -1 record.
