If anyone thinks that we shy away from tough competition, they will want to tune in to this week’s game against St. Peter’s Prep, N.J. I mean literally "tune" (surf) in on the internet at 4:00 p.m. on Friday to http://www.stpetersprep.org/MarauderRadio
John Kelly, the founder of “Marauder Play by Play”, was very kind to alert us to his coverage. I was taken totally off guard by his email requesting “stats,” thinking that he might be a personal acquaintance from St. Peter’s School on Capital Hill.
The Marauders are easily one of the best teams in New Jersey. They have very strong academics and placed 5 student athletes in Divisions I schools on full scholarships last year. They’re pictured on their extensive website and look like good smart athletes to me. I highly recommend that Friendship staff browse their site. We will be among very good company.
Good luck to all the students and staff on a very tough road trip.
