Thank-You Senior Knights

The last chance to see the senior Knights in action is this Friday at ("home"), Eastern High School. Kick off is at 7:00. To say that the Football program has made great strides this year would be an understatement. We experienced a number of firsts including nation wide recognition, television appearances, highest rankings and likely highest number of Division 1 full scholarships. The legacy of our Seniors will assist the entire Friendship Family for years to come.
For that we are grateful and say thank-you, sincerely.
Let's put this in perspective. In just eight years Friendship has produced over 20 Division 1 prospects. This year, Friendship has a true All-American, Eddie Goldman, with over 40 Division 1 offers. Mr. Goldman has been invited to the best All-American games. He's joined by: Division I lineman recruits Jordan Davis, Dondre Whitmire, Quncy Dickens, Cody Young- Brown; running backs Isaiah Hayes and Bobby Huey; defensive back Albert Ried; and, wide receiver Antonio Huff.
Friendship welcomes Chesapeake Storm to D.C. Chesapeake arrives with a good record at 5-2, and recently defeated the new Kipp Charter team.
Lets not only salute the listed players, but all of our other wonderful seniors, including the managers. And, don't forget the senior Knights in the drum line, dancers, cheer leaders, the flag team, as well as other participating seniors. Together they have thrilled and entertained us in a season to remember.
