Friendship Remains Undefeated and Moves on to Gwynn Park

The Knights defeated St. Leo's 38 to 18 last Friday. Friendship plays at Gwynn Park this Saturday, October 1st, at 3:00pm. Gwynn Park is a Prince George's County public school located at 13800 Brandywine Road, Brandywine, MD.

The Yellow Jackets are 3-1-0 on the year having defeated Potomac, Friendly, and Crossland. Their loss was to Douglas by a score of 14 to 6.

Ironically, Max Preps has rated Good Counsel and Friendship, 1 and 2 respectively in DC, although Good Counsel is located in Olney Maryland. That would make the Knights clearly number 1 in D.C. Preps rates Gilman as number one in Maryland despite their loss to Good Counsel earlier this year. It is unclear why MaxPreps would deny Good Counsel the number one Maryland Position and Friendship the number 1 D.C. slot. Georgetown Prep, lost to Friendship earlier this year in a close game and is rated number 5 in Maryland.
