Friendship Collegiate gets its third straight win, beating Georgetown Prep 22-16 despite turnover and penalty woes.

After building a 14-10 halftime lead, Friendship gave the Little Hoyas (1-1) an opening to get back into the game. Early in the fourth quarter, Georgetown Prep junior Ryan Norton stepped in front of a pass and returned it 80 yards for a touchdown. After a failed extra-point attempt, the GT held a 16-14 advantage.

Friendship running back Albert Reid used two — one around the edge for 14 yards and one up the middle for 18 yards — to help set up the winning score. Reid, a West Virginia recruit, rushed for 149 yards on 22 carries.

Friendship quarterback Brian White, filling in for starter Tim Brady who was injured in last week’s win over Mount St. Joseph, threw his second touchdown of the game, a nine-yard pass to Lamar Jefferson, and then found Antonio Huff for a two-point conversion and a 22-16 lead
